Affeliate Marketing Skills That Cost Me Fortune

Posted June 3rd by admin in Affiliate-Revenue

If you decided to start your online business, you like working from home, you like working extended hours on the computer and you love Internet. Then these are must know skills for every aspiring affiliate marketer.

1-Use Yahoo Site Explorer to check how many of your website pages are indexed. You can also check your backlinks. You will NEED as much backlinks as possible. (See my other posts how to create backlinks, do it yourself, or use one of the hundreds of other directory submission services, but do something to get backlinks!).

2-A lot of the social bookmarking sites set the links to NOFOLLOW, so you won't get a SEO boost from them. Only use social sites to promote unique content on your site that would naturally attract visitors who want to read the content. Meaning the major advantage of social bookmarking is getting visitors from the social bookmarking sites, which can be tough to accomplish. Here are some of these sites:

digg.com

reddit.com

del.icio.us

ma.gnolia.com

stumbleupon.com

facebook.com

twitter.com

www.google.com/bookmarks/

myweb2.search.yahoo.com/myresults/bookmarklet?

furl.net/storeIt.jsp?

blinklist.com

technorati.com

mixx.com

favorites.live.com

3- Check your site SEO score at:

http://www.instantposition.com/seotestresults.php

This will give you an indication of your website search engine ranking.

4- Get an account with USFreeAds. Yahoo will give you credit for the links, and if you post at least one ad per day for each of your website product that you are promoting, it will greatly improve your chances of making sales.

Moreover, put yourself in your visitor's shoes. Ask yourself the questions:
"What would I do if I was going to buy a new product?"
"What information would I need to make the right purchasing decision?"
"How would I find the best deal on the product that I wanted to buy?"

Ask yourself those questions and any others you can think of, and then MAKE SURE that your site provides an answer to each and every one. If you don't, then it's likely that people who do visit your site will leave it to find the answers somewhere else.

Now this is the most critical part, you can choose to answer above questions manually and do the tedious task of research or you can use one of the best online tools to automate this process. Some of these tools are available for free and some are paid and well deserve the price. To help you speed up your research and answer these questions here are all the tools you need. Let’s take an example to make it easy to understand. Let’s assume you are selling watches, one of the brand name you are selling is Breitling. One of the tools I use to perform keyword research is Micro Niche Finder. I typed in MNF the seed word “breitling”, this tool returned back 113 keywords phrases related to brand name Breitling and the number of searches performed daily, but most importantly this tool displays the number of competition. At the time of writing this post, one of the keyword phrase was “how to spot a fake breitling” with 1000 searches and MNF gave green on competition. This is where you hit the bullseye. I punched in this phrase “Fake Breitling watch is” in my next tool Instant Article Wizard and hit research… in 20 seconds IAW searched the web and returned from many different sources all related sentences regarding fake Breitling watches I have selected all the sentences that I like and put each topic in the form of a paragraph. Finally, in order to ensure my content is unique I fired up my next tool which is available for free’ DupeFree. In this tool I pasted all my paragraphs about Fake Brietling on the left pane and started to rewrite all my sentences on the right pane until dupefree gave me the smiley face indication of uniqueness. After this all I have to do publish my article on my site or my blog and let search engines index it. And because of minimal competition, this page will rank higher.

My next step is to rewrite this article again and make it unique with dupefree and submit it to article directories. The most important one is ezinearticles.com, submitting to article directories is a very effective way to build thousands of backlinks and since you can include your signature in your article this will result in new targeted visitors to your website.

If you already have some content on your site, you need to be sure that these contents are unique. You can check this at copyscape.com, and if others have plagarised from you, then you need to file a complaint with the offending site's ISP, if that doesn't work
file complaint with Google .

Remember putting up websites with products online is just the skeleton bone you need to add some meet on your store and that’s the relevant content that your website visitors are eagerly seeking.

I hope this helps…
